Shi Huicai, chief engineer of the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, said that as of March this year, Fujian Province had promoted a total of 250,000 new energy vehicles, of which 27,000 were promoted in the first quarter of this year, an increase of 95.7%. In the next step, Fujian will take the promotion and application of new energy vehicles as an important task to promote the accelerated development of the new energy vehicle industry.

Do a good job of policy support. In recent years, Fujian Province has arranged a special fund of 400 million yuan for the construction of "Electric Fujian" every year to support new energy vehicle manufacturers in the province to expand production and sales, and to carry out business model innovations such as power battery leasing. Fuzhou, Putian, Longyan, Ningde and other districts and cities have formulated and implemented local "electricalization" policies and measures based on actual conditions. "On this basis, it is necessary to speed up the realization of policy funds, and actively strive for national policy and financial support for the promotion and application of new energy vehicles in Fujian Province." Shi Huicai said.

Promote demonstration applications in key areas. Relying on the "Fujian Province New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Plan (2022-2025)", efforts will be made to promote the demonstration application of new energy vehicles in key areas such as official vehicles, buses, taxis, logistics vehicles in central urban areas, and sanitation vehicles. Support scenic spots, factory areas, port areas, logistics parks, mining areas and other areas and islands in the province to build demonstration areas for the promotion and application of new energy vehicles.

Accelerate the construction of supporting infrastructure. Scientifically deploy charging (replacing) infrastructure, speed up the formation of expressways and urban and rural public charging networks with moderately advanced, fast charging as the main, and slow charging as a supplement, and make up for the shortcomings in the construction of charging facilities in urban and rural areas and residential areas. Focusing on scenarios such as ports and urban transshipment, support the construction and layout of dedicated power exchange stations, explore and promote the separation mode of vehicles and electricity, and explore the shared power exchange mode in the fields of rental, logistics and transportation.

Continue to focus on the promotion of new energy vehicle products. Organize new energy vehicle promotion and application related docking activities, strengthen the promotion of new energy vehicle products; support new energy vehicle manufacturers in the province to carry out car-to-rural activities. At the same time, support the new energy vehicle manufacturers in the province to participate in the service guarantee of various major events, competitions, etc., and expand the brand influence.
