Electromin, a wholly-owned electric vehicle delivery solutions provider under Petromin, has announced the launch of electric vehicle charging stations across the country, according to Arab Business News.  

It is reported that the network of charging stations will cover 100 locations in Saudi Arabia, with customer support provided by an app. Electromin's charging network will provide a full range of services, from home/office AC chargers, DC fast chargers, all the way up to DC ultra-fast chargers, to meet the needs of all customer bases.

According to a statement provided by the service provider, the chargers installed in the first phase will be compatible with all vehicles using AC Type 2 connectors approved by the Saudi Organization for Standards, Metrology and Quality. The second phase will add a maximum 360kW AC charger and DC charger, and users can add 100 kilometers in minutes.  

Users can download the app via Google Play or the Apple Store, register their payment card details, and go. At that time, there will be a dedicated call center to guide and help EV users deal with charging, breakdowns or technical errors.

In addition, customers can now benefit from electric vehicle battery recovery services. The main feature of this service is to ensure the road problems faced by customers whose electric car batteries are depleted. Restoration of services will initially be limited to Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.
