The Shanghai Municipal People's Government issued a notice on the "14th Five-Year Plan for Energy Development in Shanghai" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan").

The "Plan" clearly accelerates the construction of new infrastructure in the energy sector. Encourage the deep integration of digital technologies such as 5G and cloud computing with energy, tap the potential of energy big data, and promote the development of "Internet +" smart energy. Accelerate the construction of new terminals focusing on charging facilities. Build 200,000 new charging facilities and build more than 45 taxi charging demonstration stations to support the development of electric vehicles. Improve the core functions of the municipal platform of charging facilities, realize the interconnection of charging facilities in the city, and further improve the charging experience of users.

During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, in accordance with the principles of "interconnection, orderly and controllable, safe and intelligent, and co-construction and sharing", we will carry out innovative pilot projects for new charging infrastructure, and solve the difficult problem of users' charging through the interconnection of charging facilities. Charging alleviates the contradiction of peak regulation in the power grid, strives to form an orderly charging capacity of 500,000 vehicles and 500,000 kilowatts, and realizes the integrated development of grids, piles, and vehicles.
