In recent years, with the rapid increase in the number of electric vehicles, the product orders of charging pile companies are also growing rapidly. According to industry insiders, the charging market is getting bigger and bigger. For example, our annual growth rate is 30% to 50%. This year, our order volume has doubled compared with the same period of previous years. However, even if the increase of charging piles is large, in many cities, it is still unable to fully meet the charging needs of car owners. Many new energy vehicle companies have also deployed the charging market in order to better provide after-sales charging services.
The latest data from the China Charging Alliance shows that from January to March this year, the increase in charging infrastructure was 492,000 units. Among them, the increase of public charging infrastructure increased by 96.5% year-on-year; the increase of charging facilities built with vehicles continued to increase, with a year-on-year increase of 538.6%. As of March 2022, the national charging infrastructure has accumulated to 3.109 million units, a year-on-year increase of 73.9%.
New technology blessing, electric vehicles will be more convenient for long-distance travel

If a pure electric vehicle with a battery capacity of 100kWh is fully charged with 120KW, it generally takes between 40 minutes and 60 minutes. And if you need to queue up for charging during a long-distance passenger flow, it is easy to wait for too long for charging. This is also the main reason why many electric vehicle owners are discouraged from driving electric vehicles for long-distance travel.
However, with the rapid iteration of charging pile technology, today, as far as charging piles are concerned, the technology that can fill a 100kWh electric vehicle in about 10 minutes has matured and is gradually being implemented.
In addition to the faster charging time, the combination of charging piles and 5G will bring the charging market into a more intelligent era. Recently, the first domestic 5G smart charging pile jointly constructed by Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau and China Southern Power Grid Electric Vehicle Service Co., Ltd. was put into operation in Longgang, Shenzhen. The charging pile can not only undertake real-time data collection and analysis functions, but also has built-in 5G communication. The module can make the data transmission rate reach 50 times the rate of 4G.
